Software for the good

Technology that changes lives. Built in Ghana, felt worldwide.

We build software for organisations whose mission is to make the world better — and we are one of them.

Technology that changes lives. Built in Ghana, felt worldwide.

We Are At The Center

Trinity Software Center was founded in 2017 with three young engineers from Kumasi — graduates of KNUST from modest backgrounds. That origin is not history. It is still why we exist.

We are a Fairtrade software company. That means we build world-class software for European and African clients — and we do it by creating meaningful, well-paid careers for young African engineers who would otherwise not have access to them. Every project we deliver serves two purposes: solving your problem and building a more equitable digital economy.

The People Behind the Code

At the heart of our innovation are the real stories that fuel our passion. In this behind-the-scenes feature, we share a deeper look into the families and backgrounds of our team members—highlighting the unique journeys that inspire our work every day. Watch as Isaac Quaye shares his personal story, offering a glimpse into the values and experiences that drive our culture forward.

Who we build for

AI moves fast. The temptation to ship quickly and fix problems later is real. We do not work that way.

Every AI feature we build goes through the same quality gates as everything else we deliver: human code review, automated testing, clear documentation of what the AI does and does not do, and full disclosure to the client of which models and tools are involved.

Who we build for

Our trustworthy AI commitment on every project:

We provide fully documented validation protocols and clear diagrams mapping inputs, model parameters, and outputs. No black boxes — you will always know exactly how inferences are generated and checked.

AI is not a silver bullet. If a problem can be solved reliably and cheaply with deterministic code, algorithms, or standard database logic, we will build it that way to save cost and maximize reliability.

We map out critical failure modes and edge cases before deploying. By acknowledging exactly where the system can fail, we can design graceful fallbacks, human-in-the-loop validation, and UI safety notices.

We classify each AI component based on the EU AI Act risk categories (unacceptable, high, limited, minimal) and construct the necessary compliance frameworks, documentation, and safety guardrails to match.

If your application falls under the scope of high or limited risk, we help you compile the required technical documentation, risk management systems, quality management procedures, and post-market monitoring.

Projects

Just a few of our impact projects

Skuuni — School Management for Ghana

Skuuni is our own cloud-based school management system, used by hundreds of schools across Ghana. It handles student records, attendance, fees, and academic performance — replacing paper-based administration that consumed hours of teacher and administrator time every week. AI features for academic performance prediction and student outcome analysis are currently in development.

Maxim Nyansa Digital Library — Free Learning for Africa

In partnership with the Maxim Nyansa Foundation, we built an online digital library offering free educational content — over 2 TB — to young Africans in English and French. The platform includes a full learning management system and an offline version designed for schools in remote areas without reliable internet. Our engineers also volunteer as trainers in Maxim Nyansa's bootcamps for young IT professionals from underprivileged families.

Odwadini — Financial Literacy for Informal Traders

Odwadini is a financial literacy app built for informal traders in Ghana — market sellers, small vendors, and micro-entrepreneurs who operate outside the formal banking system. Designed from the ground up for users with limited smartphone experience, it focuses on simplicity, local language support, and practical tools for daily money management.

AI for the Good — our new strategic pillar

AI for the Good — our new strategic pillar

Foreign investment in AI in Africa is growing fast. Governments are talking about it. Development banks are funding it. Conferences are full of it. But there is a gap that few are addressing: where are the African software companies with a real track record in deploying AI to world standards — who can actually execute?

Trinity is building that track record deliberately. We call it 'AI for the Good' — a programme of AI applications developed specifically for the African context, addressing real problems in education, waste management, and social care.

What makes Trinity

What we are currently developing:

AI for Education — Skuuni

AI for Education — Skuuni

Adding AI features to Skuuni for academic performance prediction, early identification of at-risk students, and adaptive learning recommendations — directly relevant to funders and development programmes focused on educational outcomes.

AI for Social Care — FillFellow for Ghana

AI for Social Care — FillFellow for Ghana

FillFellow's AI-powered form automation — already proven in the Dutch social care sector — has direct applications for healthcare intake, social services, and community programme administration in Ghana. We are exploring how this technology can be adapted for the African context.

AI for Waste Management — Concept in Development

AI for Waste Management — Concept in Development

Urban waste management is one of Ghana's most visible infrastructure challenges. We are developing an AI-powered concept for smarter waste collection routing and monitoring. A concept paper is in preparation.
